Superheroes possess a bit of bravado, as evidenced by something Captain Marvel said in her second movie: “Let’s rewrite some history, shall we?” Now I don’t believe anyone at MJ is an actual comic book superhero, but I do think we’re able to do some pretty remarkable things for our clients, particularly when we help them recover from or avoid a loss altogether.
We’re there when people need us most, often at some of the most difficult times of their lives. As an agency, we’re committed to extending and improving the lives of those we serve through engaging employee benefit and wellness programs that provide financial security, support healthy lifestyle choices and cover healthcare expenses. And at their core, our personal and commercial insurance products exist to protect individuals and businesses by identifying risks, trying to reduce or eliminate those risks, and covering expenses following a claim.
That sounds like the stuff of superheroes to me.
Even MJ’s publicly stated purpose—to inspire the success, fulfillment, and wellbeing of each person we serve: our associates and their families, business partners, clients and our community—supports our role of helping people live their best lives.
While people seldom consider insurance a “top shelf” kind of career, I’d humbly submit that it is remarkably rewarding, engaging and, yes, even noble. I’ve seen firsthand how we repair lives and restore people’s faith in others.
If you’d be interested in how you can cast yourself as the protector and champion of those in your own community, I hope you’ll consider an insurance career. We need lots of different kinds of talent and we’re always looking for people who want to make a difference, so please check out our available positions today.
