INDIANAPOLIS – (Aug. 23, 2018) – MJ Insurance, one of the nation’s largest privately-held insurance agencies with more than five decades of success, has appointed four new team members, Alex Bill, Amy Zahn, Nate Jones and Michelle Stevens to its Indianapolis office.
Bill joins the team as a risk management consultant, responsible for proactively driving sales and service to new and existing clients while delivering innovative risk management solutions.
Prior to MJ Insurance, Bill worked as an assistant property manager at New Millennium Homes. Most recently, Bill served as an associate sales representative at Rapp Medical Systems.
Bill obtained his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis.
Jones also joins the team as a risk management consultant. Jones most recently worked as an assistant underwriter in commercial transportation at Arlington/Roe & Co. Previously, Jones worked as a business builder at Indiana State University where he assisted in the identification, development and execution of projects which support the operation and organizational goals of area companies.
Jones earned his bachelor’s degree in insurance and risk management from Indiana State University. He also serves as the co-regional director of the GIS alumni council at Gamma Iota Sigma.
Zahn joins MJ Insurance as a risk transfer specialist, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and support to risk management clientele, owning the marketing process and working directly with risk analysis and client advocacy teams to create and execute risk management strategies and insurance programming.
Zahn previously worked at Protective Insurance/Baldwin & Lyons as an underwriting assistant where she conducted reviews of new business and renewal submissions and reviewed financial, loss control and other underwriting data to determine eligibility.
Zahn received her bachelor’s degree in marketing with minors in international business and special event and meeting planning from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich.
Stevens joins the team as an account manager in the Benefits Consulting Department, where she will deliver expert consultation and outstanding service to employee benefits clientele.
Stevens has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and most recently worked as an adjunct instructor at Medtech College where she provided students with healthcare training in multiple disciplines including nursing, medical assistance and health insurance.
