Senate Releases “Better Care Reconciliation Act”

Key Takeaways & Comparison Chart

Another version of universal healthcare was released Thursday, this time dubbed the “Better Care Reconciliation Act” or BCRA. After the House passed its “American Health Care Act” in May, the Senate has taken its turn at revising and updating the bill. Both AHCA and BCRA have been created with the intent to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

While the fate of BCRA is still unclear, Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, intends to push for a vote by the end of next week.
