INDIANAPOLIS – (Sept. 6, 2016) – MJ Insurance, one of the nation’s largest privately-held insurance agencies with more than five decades of success, has added a consultant to its risk management and commercial insurance team in Indiana.
Ryan Goodwin joins MJ Insurance as a Risk Management Consultant to help drive sales and provide client service to new and existing clients. Goodwin joins MJ from Morgan Insurance Group in Martinsville where he worked for the past five years. Previously, Goodwin served as a police officer in the Town of Mooresville for three years.
Goodwin earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. Goodwin also brings a passion for community and civic engagement to his role at MJ having served as both a County Council Member in Morgan County and as a Town Council Member in Mooresville. Additionally, in 2015, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence appointed Goodwin as a member of the Indiana Medicaid Advisory Committee.
