High outdoor temperatures aren’t just an inconvenience; it’s dangerous. Heat is the number one weather-related cause of death in Arizona and across the country, with 121 people in Arizona dying due to exposure to excessive natural heat, on average, every year.
Associates at MJ Insurance recently organized a heat relief drive to help combat this problem. The team delivered lunches, water, sunglasses, sunblock and other items to the homeless community in Phoenix. With the weather reaching a scorching 100+ degrees, it is important to do what we can to help those individuals stay hydrated and protected from the brutal heat of the Arizona sun.
