INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 19, 2015) – For the seventh consecutive year, MJ Insurance, a leading property-casualty and employee benefits agency with more than 50 years of success, has been named one of the “Best Places to Work in Indiana” by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
Final rankings for the 10th annual award program will be announced May 7, at a dinner hosted by the chamber. The MJ Insurance accolade will be in the “medium employer category” for companies employing 75 to 249 people. All ranked businesses will be featured in the May/June issue of the award-winning BizVoice magazine.
Created in 2006, the Best Places to Work award program is the result of a statewide survey designed to identify, recognize and honor the companies that provide benefit and economic fuel to the Indiana economy, its workforce and businesses. In all, only 100 companies earn this prestigious recognition.
Best Places to Work companies are determined through employer reports and employee surveys. All companies participating in the program receive an in-depth evaluation identifying strengths and weaknesses, according to their employees. The report is used for developing and enhancing recruitment and retention programs.
MJ Insurance, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2014, has 125 employees and continues to grow.
