MJ Insurance Vice President Named a ‘Power Broker’ by Risk & Insurance Magazine

INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 26, 2014) – MJ Insurance Executive Vice President of Employee Benefits, Andy Vetor, is one of 18 national employee benefits professionals who have been named a “Power Broker” by Risk & Insurance, a leading industry trade publication.

During the past six months, the editorial team from Risk & Insurance reviewed and identified the top commercial insurance brokers in 24 industry sectors. Applicants were judged on their creativity in solving risk-related problems for clients, their demonstrated industry knowledge and their level of client service. Those earning the Power Broker designation are individual brokers, not brokerage firms.

“We are honored to say we have another Power Broker on our team,” said Michael H. Bill, CEO of MJ Insurance. “We couldn’t be more proud of Andy and his continued success, leadership, breadth of industry knowledge along with outstanding client service.”

Joining Vetor on the employee benefits Power Broker award finalists are professionals from some of the world’s largest insurance agencies including Aon Hewitt, HUB International and Arthur J. Gallagher. Previously, a principal at MJ Insurance, Kevin Sliwa, was honored in the publication’s 2013 list.

Vetor, who has been with MJ Insurance for more than 12 years, was recently promoted to executive vice president of employee benefits. “This recognition by industry-leading experts is truly an honor,” said Vetor. “I look forward to continuing my work with our great clientele and challenging myself to continue to learn, lead and succeed.”
