INDIANAPOLIS (March 5, 2013) – MJ Insurance, one of the nation’s leading property-casualty and employee benefits agencies, is one of the “Best Places to Work in Indiana” according to the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. This is the fifth consecutive year that MJ Insurance has received this award.
The award program, created in 2006, is the result of a statewide survey “designed to identify, recognize and honor” the businesses that benefit the state’s economy, its workface and businesses. In all, only 100 companies earned this honor.
“This award reflects our rich and unique workplace culture,” said MJ Insurance CEO Michael H. Bill. “I’m blessed to have such dedicated and talented employees and I am grateful of this recognition.”
Companies from across the state were evaluated in a two-part process that included an evaluation of company workplace policies, practices and demographics. An employee survey, which counted for 75 percent of the total evaluation, also was a part of the process.
MJ Insurance and the other “Best Places to Work” will be honored at an Indiana Chamber of Commerce awards dinner on Thursday, May 2. At the dinner, final rankings of the “Best Places to Work” will be announced. These businesses will also be featured in the Indiana Chamber of Commerce bimonthly publication, “BizVoice” and via “Inside Indiana Business” with Gerry Dick.
