INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – (August 20, 2010) – MJ Insurance has been ranked as one of the top 100 privately-held agencies in the U.S. by a leading trade publication.
Insurance Journal, a biweekly trade publication, named Indianapolis-based MJ Insurance to its “Top 100 P/C Agencies in 2010.” In a special report on the top U.S. agencies, Insurance Journal editors noted only 42 percent of the agencies on the list increased their property/casualty revenue volume in 2009 – MJ Insurance was one of those companies.
Information from the report was gathered from voluntary online submissions from agencies, brokerages and best estimates via public information sources. MJ Insurance is No. 78 on the 2010 list with $117.1 million in property/casualty premiums written in 2009, nearly a 5 percent increase over the year before.
