integrity and recognizing the trust you place with us in
representing your insurance needs. As such, we will have access to
customer information which should be carefully protected and kept

for everyone associated with our firm. Each associate at MJ
Insurance is required to sign a statement acknowledging the Privacy
Statement of our firm.

personnel who have a legitimate need to have the information in
providing services to our clients or conducting the business of MJ
Insurance, which is accomplished by maintaining physical,
electronic and procedural safeguards that meet or exceed applicable

Information which we may collect to procure and modify insurance
coverage or to process claims for our clients include:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other
forms
- Information about your transactions with us or other associated
companies we serve as an agent/broker for your coverage
- Information we receive from a consumer-reporting agency
We do not disclose any non-public personal or business
information about our clients to non-affiliated third-parties,
except as permitted by law. We do disclose non-public information,
but only to the insurance companies our firm represents.
Our site may contain links to other websites. We have no control
over the privacy practices or the content of any of our business
partners or other sites that we may refer to as resources. Users
should check the applicable privacy policies of the specific

Like many other sites, our website may utilize a standard

Fee and Commission Disclosure
We advocate complete disclosure regarding our sources of income
to our clients. MJ Insurance may receive compensation in a number
of ways: (1) as commissions paid by an insurer, calculated as a
percentage of the premiums, or (2) as negotiated fees paid by the
client in lieu of commissions. These commissions or fees received
are for the placement/renewal of a client's insurance and risk
management program and day-to-day servicing that MJ has agreed to
provide on a client's behalf.
MJ Insurance may also receive payments from insurance carriers
referred to as "contingent compensation," which are based upon
factors that are not specific to a certain client. The elements
that make these payments contingent are a number of
variables: premium growth, profitability, client persistency,
etc. Furthermore, many factors including the type of
client/industry and type of insurance are often excluded from
potential payment.
