INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (June 7, 2011) - MJ Insurance, one of the largest privately-held insurance agencies in the nation and celebrating 47 years of client service, has been selected as one of the 2011 Best Places to Work by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. MJ Insurance, listed among 34 other companies in the small/medium-size organizations category, has received this recognition for three consecutive years.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in Indiana. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies.

MJ Insurance was recognized and honored at the 2011 Best Places to Work in Indiana Awards Dinner hosted by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, May 5. All ranked companies will be featured in the May-June issue of the award-winning BizVoice magazine.
