INDIANAPOLIS - (February 15, 2011) - A
growing client need has prompted MJ Insurance to form a Human
Resource Consulting Division to work hand-in-hand with current and
prospective clients to assist with the ever-increasing complex
world of human resource services.
Citing federal health care reform, understaffed and overwhelmed
HR managers in a broad array of industry sectors, MJ Insurance CEO
Mike Bill determined now was the time to launch the new HR
division. "For some time, we have been seeing an increased demand
for our HR consulting services," said Bill. "This new division will
help us assist our clients with their ever-growing HR service
needs."
MJ Insurance, one of the largest privately-held insurance
agencies in the U.S., will now be offering a broad and complex menu
of services specific to the HR needs of its clients. To lead the
consulting practice, MJ Insurance has hired Mellissa Boggs, an
industry veteran with nearly two decades of HR experience. Boggs
started with MJ Insurance in January and has an impressive
background in developing and implementing human resource strategies
for a mix of industries.
Boggs said business and company leaders continue to express
their frustration in trying to keep up with the on-going changes to
HR laws, regulations and policies. MJ Insurance's HR consulting
practice will add efficiencies and value with the many human
resource issues companies face today. The consulting practice will
include leadership coaching, training initiatives, risk mitigation,
policy and procedure development as well as time and resource
saving best practices. "We see ourselves bringing significant value
to clients who decide to take advantage of our expertise," said
Boggs. "Our process is collaborative and helps company leaders
focus on their key areas of strength allowing us to manage the
complex world of HR."
Jon Loftin, president of MJ Insurance, said clients have
increasingly been asking for such value-added HR services and feels
Boggs is the perfect leader to push MJ Insurance to the next level
with its HR service-line. "Mellissa's experience is unparalleled in
the industry," said Loftin. "We are excited to bring her expertise
to our clients."
MJ Insurance, with offices in Indiana and Arizona, was recently
named No. 78 on the list of the top 100 privately-held agencies in
the U.S. The listing, complied by Insurance Journal, a
bi-weekly trade publication, noted MJ's property/casualty revenue
has continued its impressive growth over the past several
years.
