PHOENIX - (June 22, 2011) - MJ Insurance, one of the largest privately-held insurance agencies in the U.S., has hired Byron Shultz as a Producer. Shultz, who is MJ's third new addition to its Phoenix office within the last 60 days, will work with potential new property/casualty clients.

Prior to joining MJ Insurance, Shultz was a professional golfer and served as a club instructor, tournament director and merchandise sales and event coordinator throughout Massachusetts, New York and Arizona. Most recently, he was Director of Instruction and of Tournament Operations at the Phoenix Country Club. Shultz is a graduate of Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Management.
